Marking Time: A Measure of Craft

In Norway's historic Carriage House, Lights Out presents, Marking Time - A Measure of Craft. The exhibition of fifteen Maine artists working in craft-based mediums explores how traditional craft techniques and materials, developed over time and practice, influence and inform artistic expression. Craft has often been associated primarily with utility and decoration. This collection of work aims to challenge the delineations between form and function, decorative and expressive, practical and emotional. The exhibition is co-curated by artists Diana Arcadipone and Judith Schneider.
